about

A dialogue is generated between the unique biodiversity of wetlands and oscillators and sound manipulations, presenting a narrative based on frequencies and partials not always obviously perceived, in order to create awareness of the spaces in which the human, the animal, and the botanical converge. Natural sounds were recorded in El Membrillo wetland, which is currently threatened by housing development projects, endangering at least one hundred species. This album was made as a means of raising global awareness of the significance and importance wetlands hold since they're slowly disappearing.

----------

(...) these pieces regularly feel akin to a 60s science fiction soundtrack, full of degraded and strange airs, painting spaces that plague the earthly and familiar with infringements of the uncanny and disturbing.
